Marquette – “The Free Store” at Grace United Methodist Church will host a “Baby Shower” to celebrate the store’s first anniversary on Wednesday, August 13 from noon to 4 p.m. in the fellowship hall of the church, 927 W. Fair Avenue, Marquette.
The “Free Store” will be sharing free of charge, many new and slightly used infant items for new or expectant parents. The shower is an effort on the part of the children of the church, who have collected infant items as a celebration of the Infant Jesus. “The Free Store” is open to everyone.
Cake and ice cream as well as other treats will be served. Other items, other than baby items, will be available such as quality used clothing, hygiene products, and household cleaning products.
