The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will host a class titled “Balanced Nutrition for Seniors” on Wednesday, May 14 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in room 311 of the Learning Resource Center at NMU.
Professor Mohey Mowafy will lead the seminar, focusing on the pros and cons of food choices, what quantities are a benefit, and the nutrition, health and vitamin values of various foods. Benefits and drawbacks of frozen food will also be discussed.
The cost of the event is $4 for NCLL members and $4 for non-members. Registration deadline is Friday, May 9. Call Paula McCormick at 228-5489.
