Marquette, Michigan – Peter White Public Library’s Film Club invites the public to a free screening of the modern classic film “Star Wars VI: Return of the Jedi” on Thursday, July 17 at 6:30 pm in the library’s Community Room.
The third film released in the Star Wars series, the story continues following the rescue of Han Solo, played by Harrison Ford, from the palace of Jabba the Hutt. The Rebels attempt to destroy the Second Death Star, while Luke Skywalker, played by Mark Hamill, tries to bring his father back to the Light Side of the Force.
A four time Academy Award nominee, winning a special achievement award for visual effects, “Star Wars VI: Return of the Jedi” was released in 1989, is rated PG and runs for 128 minutes. Light refreshments will be served.
