Negaunee – The Negaunee Lions Club will host the inaugural 2014 Teal Lake Paddle on Saturday, July 5 on Teal Lake in Negaunee.
This is a high-action paddling event, involving many different levels of paddling, with something for everyone, including kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards.
Morning races will include both 1.5 mile and 3 miles courses. The day will continue with an afternoon treasure hunt along the north shore, so the whole family can explore the lake together, collecting tokens for a chance to win some great prizes.
The primary focus of the funds raised is to foster and promote youth activities throughout the community, as well as local civic projects.
