L’Anse – The Baraga County Lake Trout Festival will be held on Saturday, June 11 from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. at the L’Anse Lakefront.
The event will include a fishing tournament and family fun. No fishing license is necessary as the event coincides with Michigan’s Free Fishing Weekend. There will be a kids carnival, a pie eating contest, a beach volleyball tournament, a junk art contest and much more.
Food for the family will include a pancake breakfast, food and drink booths, coffee and baked goods and Festival Fish Dinner. And watching the “Ducky River Race”, shopping at the art and crafts fair and the perennial flower sale while listening to music by area talent will ensure fun for all, regardless of age.
