‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ Performed at NMU May 16th

MARQUETTE, MICHIGAN – Northern Michigan University’s Forest Roberts Theatre will present a retelling of Jack and the Beanstalk. Show times are 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 16, and 1 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 17. Tickets are available at all NMU EZ Ticket outlets. Prices are $10 for the general public and $5 for students.

Karen and Megan Ludwig of Marquette will alternately play the title role of Jack and another character, Junior. Other members of the cast and their roles are: Sam Arsenault, Stranger; Saylor Elrod, Dame Isobel; Jesse Morrow, Mother; Alycia Heckathorn, Giant’s wife; Shane Vincent, Giant; and Abby Schneck, Harp.

Jeremie Newcomb is directing the production and will serve as props master. The remaining crew members are: Steve McClain, scenic design; Vic Holliday, lighting design; Dan Zini, sound design; Emily Kinne, stage manager/props master; Andy Lawrence, assistant stage manager; and James Hegmegee, crew.
