Marquette – The Ishpeming Rock and Mineral Club will meet on Sunday, May 18 at 1:30 p.m. at the Cliff Shaft Mine Museum, 501 W. Euclid Street, Ishpeming.
Doors will open at 1 p.m. to allow time to view the club’s extensive mineral collection.
Meagen Morrison, communities coordinator for Lundin Mining, will give an update on the Eagle Mine and Humboldt Processing Plant, reviewing the status of each location, current activities at each and projective future activities.
A business meeting will follow the program. Everyone is welcome to attend and view the many beautiful specimens that can found in the great outdoors. There is no admission charge.
