Calendar – Films/Documentaries – “Heaven Can Wait” Screening – Apr. 24

Marquette – The Peter White Public Library’s Film Club will offer a free screening of the modern classic film “Heaven Can Wait” on Thursday, April 24 at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the library.

This comedy is the story of Joe Pendleton, a Los Angeles Rams quarterback preparing to take his team to the Super Bowl. Accidentally, Pendleton is taken away from his body by an over-anxious angel before he was supposed to die and comes back to life in the body of a recently-murdered millionaire. “Heaven Can Wait” was released in 1978, is rated PG and runs for 101 minutes. Light refreshments will be served.
