Marquette – The “Your Wealth” lecture on “The Walking Debt: Don’t Become a Financial Zombie” with Rich Tegge, president and founder of Wealth Strategy Group, and Tawni Ferrarini, economist and Sam M. Cohodas Professor at NMU, will be offered on Tuesday, April 8 at 6 p.m. in Mead Auditorium in the West Science Building at NMU.
NMU students who graduated in 2011, on average, had accumulated $29,000 in student loans, according to the Institute for College Access and Success. What is college debt? How does it differ from other types of debt? Is it strategic to take on debt while in college? These questions and others will be asked and answered in the context of how NMU students can build wealth and help others prosper.
This event is free and open to the public. For more information, call the NMU Center for Education and Entrepreneurship at 227-1218.
