Marquette – Northern Michigan University music students will present a program of arias and ensembles from various operas on Tuesday, April 8 at 7:30 p.m. in the Reynolds Recital Hall.
The featured work will be Gary D. Belshaw’s 2010 short chamber opera “The Worst One Ever.” There will also be excerpts from two Gilbert and Sullivan favorites, “The Sorcerer” and “The Mikado.”
NMU professor Nancy Redfern will accompany the selections, which are appropriate in both content and length for children. There is no admission charge and the event is open to the public.
