Great Lakes Recovery Centers will be holding their 7th Annual Great Lakes Race on Saturday, September 13, 2014. The Great Lakes Race takes place at the Lakeshore Parking Lot on the corner of Lakeshore Blvd and Spring Street in Marquette.
Participants can choose between a 5K walk or a 10K run with registration starting at 8AM and the race starting at 9AM. Entry fees are as follows: Youth (0-12) $5, Teen (13-17) $10, Adult (18+) $20, UPRRC members receive a $2 discount.
Registration gets you a t-shirt, light refreshments, and a chance to win door prizes. Proceeds benefit the GLRC Foundation that supports treatment and prevention services for substance abuse and mental health disorders in the UP.
