Congressman Reid Ribble (WI-08) and Congressman Dan Benishek (MI-01) today announced they will be hosting a joint employment fair in Marinette, Wisconsin on Friday, February 24, 2012. The job fair will take place at the University of Wisconsin-Marinette from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
“My number one priority is to get Wisconsin working again. This job fair will make the process of finding a job easier by bringing together job seekers and employers who are looking to hire,” said Rep. Ribble.
“With far too many people out of work in Northern Michigan, I see this job fair as an excellent opportunity to connect employers with the many talented job seekers in our area,” said Benishek, a general surgeon from Iron River.
The goal of the job fair is to provide an opportunity for individuals looking for work to meet with potential employers in the Northern Wisconsin and Northern Michigan area. Participation in the job fair is completely free of charge for both employers and those looking to be hired.
