MARQUETTE, MICHIGAN – The City of Marquette Arts and Culture Center will host original artwork by high school aged students in Marquette County. This second annual show is an opportunity for the community to see the local youth talent and for the students to present what they’ve achieved during the academic year.
The SmallWorks Gallery features artwork by the NMU Art Student League (ASL) for the month of April. ASL advises student groups within the NMU School of Art and Design. This show will feature a variety of works and mediums that highlight NMU’s art programs.
The Main Gallery and Smallworks Gallery run from April 1 through May 3. There will be an opening reception for both galleries on Thursday, April 3 at 6-8p.m. Refreshments will be available and the public is encouraged to attend. The City of Marquette Arts and Culture Center is located in the lower level of the Peter White Public Library.
