Calumet – The Copper Country Curling Club will have a Olympic Curling Open House on Monday, February 17 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Drill House behind the Colosseum in Calumet.
This is a chance to try your hand at curling. No special equipment is needed. You will need to dress warm (jacket, hat, gloves) and bring athletic shoes, tennis shoes, sneakers, but no boots. Club members will demonstrate curling technique, answer any questions, and let you try your hand at throwing stones.
