Marquette – The “Let’s Talk About It: Muslim Journeys” series, will screen the film “Arranged” on Monday, February 24 at 5:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
“Arranged” is a dramatic comedy about Rochel, an Orthodox Jew, and Nasira, a Muslim of Syrian origin. They are both beautiful young teachers at a public school in Brooklyn. They also have something else in common as they are going through the process of getting “arranged marriages” through their respective religious and traditional customs.
