MARQUETTE, Mich.—Northern Michigan University’s College of Business is seeking presentation proposals for its inaugural Celebration of Entrepreneurship and Business Conference. Those who can address topics relevant to business leaders and entrepreneurs—from helpful tools or techniques to sharing personal stories of success or failure—are asked to contact the college by Friday, Feb. 7. Research is also welcome, provided it can be translated into material suitable for a general audience.
Presentations will be 45 minutes, including a question-and-answer session. To submit ideas, call 227-2900 or send them to drayome@nmu.edu.
The Celebration of Entrepreneurship and Business Conference will be held on Thursday, April 10, in conjunction with the annual NMU New Business Venture Competition. It is open to community members, faculty and students from colleges and high schools. More information will follow at a later date.
