WEST ISHPEMING, MICHIGAN — The NICE Community Schools Child & Family Resource Center will sponsor its 5th Annual Formal/Prom Dress Resale on Saturday, February 1st at Westwood High School from 11:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. 20% of the proceeds will go to the Family Resource Center, 80% to the seller.
Although this is a fund raiser for the Family Resource Center, our main purpose is to provide beautiful affordable dresses for ALL girls in the area. Any funds raised by this sale will be used to purchase snacks, supplies and books for our weekly playgroup which is offered free of charge and is open to all families in the Upper Peninsula.
Sellers are welcome to drop dresses off at the Westwood Media Center from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 27th thru Friday, January 31. Dresses may be dropped off Saturday, February 1th from 10:00 – 10:30 a.m. only. The seller is required to fill out an information slip stating the price, size, the year and where the dress was worn. A brief description of the dress is also required. We are sorry but we will not be able to accept dresses priced over $200.00 or older than 10 years.
Unsold dresses must be picked up no later than 3:00 p.m. on the day of the sale unless prior arrangements have been made. Any dresses not picked up will be donated to the Women’s and Children’s Center. All dresses will be sold “as is”, with no returns or exchanges!
