Downtown Marquette Farmers Market to Host Market Planning Sessions, Starting January 13th

MARQUETTE, MI – The Marquette Downtown Development Authority (DDA) Board of Directors will host several facilitated meetings in order to provide a comprehensive review of the Downtown Market Farmers Market. The sessions are meant to provide an opportunity for open dialogue and communication among all Downtown Marquette Farmers Market constituents and to provide recommendations for positive improvements and planning for long-term sustainability of the market. The DDA is looking to gather input regarding the structure, organization, operations, and the future of the Market.

Prior to establishing these meetings the DDA contracted with the Michigan Farmers Market Association to provide a “snap-shot” assessment of the market. The report is available on both the DDA Website (www.downtownmarquette.org) and the Farmers Market Website (www.mqtfarmersmarket.com)

The meeting/session schedules are as follows. We hope that you can make it! All meetings are at the Marquette Commons.
