JAPANESE CULTURAL CLASSES OFFERED Free for Kids and Teens 2014

(MARQUETTE, MI) — The City of Marquette Arts and Culture Center is offering three Japanese cultural classes, free for kids and teens. Experienced instructor, Tomoko Inoue will teach all three classes. Participants must pre-register.

Japanese Tradition & Art for Children Wednesdays, January 15, 22, 29 & February 5 at 4:30-5:30 p.m.

Japanese Tradition & Art for Teens Wednesdays, March 5, 12, 19 & 26 at 4:30-6:00 p.m.

Learning about the World Around Us: Japan for All Ages Saturday, April 12 at 1-3 p.m.

These workshops are funded by Great Lakes Recovery and the City of Marquette. The MACC is located in the lower level of the Peter White Public Library. For class descriptions or questions, please contact (906) 228-0472 or email arts-culture@mqtcty.org.
