The annual Marquette 99er Bridge Sectional will be Saturday, April 12 and Sunday, April 13 in Suite 300 of the State Farm Insurance Building, 2552 U.S. 41 West, Marquette.
The tournament will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday with two pair games, two mini lessons and lunch. Cost is $20 for the day, $8 for single sessions or lunch.
Sunday play will begin at 1 p.m. for teams of four. A mini lesson on team play will precede the game; cost is $5.
The sectional is intended for novice bridge players or those new to duplicate bridge. The tournament is restricted to players with less than 99 masterpoints. Participants may play one or more games, with each scored separately, and prizes awarded in all games. Partners and teammates will be available.
Members of the American Contract Bridge League with less than five masterpoints play free. Those who join ACBL at the first session may also play free.
