An orchestra “Informance” featuring Marquette Area Public Schools composer in residence William Hofeldt will be held on Thursday, April 10 at 7 p.m. in Reynolds Recital Hall at Northern Michigan University.
Hofeldt is the composer of “Lullaby,” the Marquette Area Public Schools orchestra theme song. He has composed a work inspired by Marquette, and will work with the MAPS middle and high school orchestra students to develop a Bothwell theme song.
The orchestras will premier these pieces, and Hofeldt will discuss the music from a composers point of view. The public is invited free of charge.
