DNR Citizens’ Advisory Councils Cancel December Meetings

Due to a variety of conflicts, the Department of Natural Resources’ Western Upper Peninsula and Eastern Upper Peninsula Citizens’ Advisory Councils have canceled their December meetings, opting to meet in January instead.

The West U.P. CAC had planned to meet in Escanaba on Monday, Dec. 9. With that meeting canceled, the next meeting will take place on Monday, Jan. 13, in Escanaba.

The East U.P. CAC was scheduled to meet in Newberry on Thursday, Dec. 5. The meeting has been rescheduled for Thursday, Jan. 23, in Newberry.

Agenda items scheduled for December will be addressed at the January meetings. Meeting times and locations will be announced in early January with a press release and also posted online at www.michigan.gov/upcac.
