Marquette – The Not-So-Black FriD.I.Y. event will be held on Friday, November 29 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church, 305 W. Magnetic Street in Marquette.
This a chance to give meaningful gifts this year that won’t break the bank and to learn how to make D.I.Y. (do it yourself) handmade gifts. Learn how to make wire wrapped jewelry, magazine wallets, flavored roasted nuts, basic weaving for baskets or decorations, simple crocheting and sewing projects, seed balls for gardening, bottle cap magnets, earrings, fishing lures, kids’ crafts and much more.
Donations can be given to cover the cost of supplies. All are welcome to come and learn. Anyone wishing to teach is also welcome.
