Marquette – The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will host a program on collecting crèches, or models displaying the scene of Jesus Christ’s birth, on Thursday, December 5 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
NCLL member Carol Margrif and her husband, Fred, will lead the class. They will provide a tour of their personal crèche collection, which is on exhibit at the library from through January 15. They will also discuss their experiences traveling the world collecting the creches.
There is no cost for NCLL members and $5 for non-members. Register by Friday, November 29, by calling 227-2979.
