The Marquette Regional History Center Hosts: “Wreath Making Class”…Filling Up Fast!!!

(Marquette, Michigan) – The evergreen wreath is one of the most popular decorations of the Christmas holiday season. A wreath on a door imparts a sign of friendship and everlasting life.

The Marquette Regional History Center is hosting a wreath making class on Wednesday December 4th from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the museum. Have fun learning to make a balsam wreath the old fashioned way and personalize it with accents of cedar, pinecones, berries, and birch bark. Greens and supplies are provided by workshop host Rosemary Michelin. Participants are asked to bring a scissors and ribbon or a premade bow.

The class fee is $10.00 and must be pre-paid. Visit www.marquettehistory.org for more info on this class. Call 226-3571 to register or stop by the Marquette Regional History Center at 145 W. Spring St. Marquette, MI.
