Meet and Greet Author Bill Harley November 9th at PWPL

Join award winning singer/songwriter and author, Bill Harley for a chance to meet him as a writer of children’s books on Saturday, November 9 at 11:00 am in the Peter White Public Library Community Room. Harley will give a short talk about his books, tell a story or two and be available for a sale and autograph session.

Harley’s trademark wit and wisdom can also be found in his books for young readers. His newest book, Charlie Bumpers vs. the Teacher of the Year, is a Junior Library Guild selection and has received critical acclaim from teachers, librarians and parents across the country. Other award winning books by Bill Harley include Lost and Found, Dirty Joe the Pirate, The Amazing Flight of Darius Frobisher, Night of the Spadefoot Toads, Sarah’s Story, Sitting Down to Eat.

Bill Harley is the two-time Grammy winning singer-songwriter, author and storyteller who is considered by fans and peers alike to be one of the best storytellers in the country. A regular commentator on National Public Radio’s (NPR) All Things Considered, Harley’s recordings have received multiple Parent’s Choice awards and Grammy nominees High Dive and The Best Candy in the Whole World.

There is no admission charge for this event thanks to sponsorship in part by the Michigan Center for the Book, Beaumier Heritage Center; Friends of and Carroll Paul Memorial Trust Fund of Peter White Public Library.
