Marquette – Tasty Reads, a book group for readers who love to cook, will meet for a lunchtime book discussion celebrating the Barefoot Contessa on Monday, October 21 from noon to 1 p.m. in the Shiras Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Author, Emmy Award winning host of the Food Network program Barefoot Contessa, Ina Garten is a former White House nuclear policy analyst,known for designing recipes with an emphasis on fresh ingredients and time-saving tips.
Participants are invited enjoy a sample recipe inspired by the author and new members are always welcome. The Tasty Reads meets the third Monday of each month at the library and there is no admission charge.
