Marquette – Fall Flicks will celebrate the One Book One Community Read with a screening of “Seeking a Friend for the End of the World” on Tuesday, October 15 at 5:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Taking audiences on a humorous, moving, and intimate journey against an epic backdrop of Earth’s final days, insurance salesman Dodge has always played by the rules of life, while his neighbor Penny is an extroverted woman who hasn’t. From these opposite perspectives, both choose to navigate the impending end of the world together.
The film was released in June 2012, is rated R and runs for 101 minutes. Fall Flicks invites the public to bring their own takeout supper and enjoy this recently feature film in a dinner theater setting. There is no admission charge.
