Marquette – Summer Cinema will present a screening of “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey” on Thursday, July 25 at 5:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.

This film is the first of a trilogy adapting the popular masterpiece by J.R.R. Tolkien. The adventure follows the journey of title character Bilbo Baggins, who is swept into an epic quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor from the fearsome dragon Smaug. The film, released in 2012, is rated PG-13 and runs for 169 minutes.

Summer Cinema invites the public to bring their own takeout supper and enjoy this recently released feature film in a dinner theater setting. There is no admission charge. For more information visit www.pwpl.info or call 226-4318.
