Marquette – Bluesday Tuesday will host a documentary film screening about blues icon, John Lee Hooker, on Tuesday, March 26 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
“John Lee Hooker: Come and See About Me” was released in 2004 with the approval of the musicians estate. The 2 hour documentary features vintage footage of Hooker jamming with the Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, Van Morrison, Ry Cooder, and Bonnie Raitt. Also included are archive performances throughout his storied career from many of the various television appearances he made as well as vintage interview clips with Hooker.
