Marquette – Fall Flicks will host a screening of “The Great Gatsby” on Tuesday, October 8 at 5:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Set in the Roaring 20’s, Nick Carraway, a Midwesterner living on Long Island, finds himself fascinated by the mysterious past and lavish lifestyle of his neighbor, Jay Gatsby. Nick is drawn into Gatsby’s circle, becoming a witness to obsession and tragedy.
The film is rated PG-13 and runs for 142 minutes. The public is invited to bring their own takeout supper and enjoy this recently released feature film in a dinner theater setting.
