Marquette, Michigan — A poetry writing workshop led by Russ Thorburn, the U.P.’s first Poet Laureate, “Poems to Catch Your Eye: Using Nature & Exploration as Models,” will be held Sunday, October 6 from 2:00-3:30 p.m. in the Peter White Public Library Shiras Room. For those in grade 8 and up. Free. A revision for publication session for those who attend the October 6 program will be held Sunday, October 27 from 2:00-3:30 in the Library’s Dandelion Cottage Room.
