Marquette – The 2013 Universal Design Conference presented by Thrivent Financial will be held on Wednesday, October 2 from 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Thursday, October 3 from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Peter White Public Library.
The regional conference welcomes consumers, architects, designers, planners, developers, builders, contractors, remodelers, design students, housing agency staff, non-profit housing organizations, code officials, public health professionals and other related disciplines.
Universal Design is a superior approach to design and construction that is inclusive, attractive and never obvious, improving function and usability for everyone in homes, products, and communities.
