Man fishing in a river

Trout and salmon fishing on inland lakes and streams is almost over for the season! Did you catch yours yet? The season ends Sept. 30 for Inland Type 1 and 2 streams and Inland Type A and D lakes. Find the Inland Trout & Salmon Regulations and accompanying maps which are always available at www.michigan.gov/fishingguide.

If you’d like some helpful tips on where the fish are biting, check out the Weekly Fishing Report.
