Negaunee – The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will lead a hike on the newly completed Iron Ore Heritage Trail connecting Negaunee and Marquette on Thursday, August 8 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. beginning at the trail on the intersection of M-35 and County Road 492 in Negaunee.
Al Reynolds will lead the hike to Bagdad Pond. The hike will follow the railroad grade through rock cuts, alongside ponds and past a rock processing company.
There is no cost for NCLL members and a fee of $5 for non-members. Register by Tuesday, July 30, by calling 227-2979.
