Marquette – The Noquemanon Ski Marathon will be held Thursday, January 27 through Saturday, January 29 in the Marquette/Negaunee/Ishpeming area.
The event begins on Thursday with the Torch Light Trek at 6 p.m. in downtown Ishpeming. Participation is free. The trail will start from the corner of Pearl and Main Street and go to Lakeshore Drive.
Friday’s events begin with the Junior Noque at 4 p.m. at the Forestville Trailhead. The Friday Night Pasta Feed is from 6 to 8 p.m. at the
Superior Dome (Adults: $11.50, Children under 10: $7:50). The Ski Expo and Registration/Packet Pick-up will be from 5:30 to 10 p.m. at the Superior Dome.
Saturday events begin with the 50k Classic Touring at 8:20 a.m. at the Forestville Trailhead. Other events through the day are:
50K Classic Race and 50K Relay, Classic 12k, 50K Freestyle, 10k Snowshoe, 25k Classic, 25k Freestyle, and 15 Mile Snowshoe.
