Copper Harbor, MI – The Longest Day Fishing Tournament is held on the waters of Copper Harbor, Lac La Belle, Eagle Harbor and Lake Medora (All 4 locations have DNR Parks and Recreation Division facilities). No boat is permitted more than 5 miles from the Lake Superior Shoreline. Fishing tentatively begins at 6:00 am, and ends at 3:30 pm. The awards ceremony will be held at 8:00 pm at the Mariner North in Copper Harbor. Check in and weighing of fish will be done at the Gaslite General Store. A pre-tournament meeting will be held on Friday at the Copper Harbor Community Building and will include refreshments, live music and a fish boil.
