This years annual Out of the Darkness walk will be held September 7th. To support suicide prevention, ending the stigma of seeking help, and recognizing loved ones that are not with us please join our walk. Call Andy at (906) 228-9699 ext. 23 to join the cause. The Out of the Darkness Walk location will be held at the Al Quaal Recreation Area in Ishpeming, registration starts at 9 am and the walk begins at 10 am. Part of the proceeds will be used to fund local suicide prevention programs and help families affected by suicide, and the rest will be used by American Foundation for Suicide Prevention to fund their research and advocacy nation wide. Registration for Out of the Darkness walk is $20 and participants will receive a free T-shirt.
