(Marquette, MI) – Summer Cinema presents a screening of “Pitch Perfect” on Wednesday, August 21 at 5:30 pm in the Peter White Public Library Community Room.
Starring Anna Kendrick as Beca, a new college student who finds herself not right for any clique but is muscled into one that she never would have picked on her own: alongside mean girls, sweet girls and weird girls whose only thing in common is how good they sound when they sing together. When Beca leads this a cappella singing group out of their traditional arrangement and perfect harmonies into all-new mash-ups, they fight to climb their way to the top of the college music competitions. An outrageously hilarious laugh-out-loud comedy that received 11 Teen Choice Award nominations.
“Pitch Perfect” co-stars Brittany Snow and Rebel Wilson, was released in 2012, is rated PG-13 and runs for 92 minutes.
