(Marquette, MI) – Marquette City Band is producing the Upper Peninsula Community Band Festival on Friday and Saturday, August 8 and 9, with concerts on August 9 by Negaunee and Marquette City Bands and the Festival Band. Funding has been provided by the Marquette County Community Foundation. Director Steve Grugin, Band President Ben Bohnsack and Foundation Director Gail Anthony would be available to Walt and Mike any morning August 4-9. The concert is at 7 pm on August 9 at Presque Isle Park Band Shell, and press coverage is appropriate.
