Houghton – The “Run For Their Lives” 5K and 10K Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, June 8 at the Ray Kestner Waterfront Park in Houghton. Registration is at 8 a.m. and the run/walk begins at 9 a.m.
Registration is $30 per individual, $75 per family and free for kids 12 and under. A T-shirt is included in the registration fee.
The event will follow the trail along the waterfront in Houghton. A free hot dog lunch will follow.
The event will help support the Life Outreach Center in Houghton which is a crisis pregnancy center that helps families in the community. Pre-register by calling 482-8681 or email www.lifeoutreachhoughton@gmail.com
