Marquette – The Marquette Regional History Center will host a Light the Night Gala on Saturday, February 19 from 7 to 10 p.m. at 145 W. Spring Street in Marquette.
The new reception hall will be decorated by Garden Bouquet and the dome will be lit up with videos of the northern lights. Music will be provided by Eclettico, and Jimmy Almen. Food will be served by Babycakes and Vango’s, and Aurora Ale will be served courtesy of The Vierling and wine courtesy of Everyday Wines. Dress will be cocktail attire.
Jack Deo, owner of Superior View Photography, will emcee the evening’s program, which includes guest speaker Robert Archibald, executive director of the Missouri State Historical Society. Archibald is an Ishpeming native and a graduate of Northern Michigan University.
Tickets cost $100 and may be purchased online at www.marquettecohistory.org/store/tickets or by calling 226-3571. All proceeds will go to support the capital campaign for the new facility.
