22nd Annual Spanish Day at NMU

Marquette, MI  – The 22nd annual Spanish Day will be held at Northern Michigan University from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, in the Explorer, Charcoal and Great Lakes Rooms of the University Center. More than 400 students from 16 area high schools will be stamping their passports to “Espanolandia,” a simulated Spanish speaking country. Students will be submerged in a Spanish-speaking world and have the opportunity to compete in one of four competitions: skit performance, show and tell, Spanish quiz bowl or singing.
