Skandia – Northern Vegans and VegNMU will have a vegan picnic on Sunday, September 7 at 1 p.m. at Dancing Crane Farm, 348 Lawson Road in Skandia.
Bring a vegan dish with no animal products (meat, fish, eggs, dairy, honey) to share, along with table service plate, bowl, cup, silverware and beverage. If possible, bring a lawn chair. Water, napkins and condiments will be provided.
If unable to bring food, RSVP to 236-1279 by Thursday, September 4 and pay $5 for the event.
Carpooling from Marquette will be available. Everyone is welcome, with no RSVP required for those bringing food.
Northern Vegans will also lead a 2 hour hike on the North Country Trail starting at 10 a.m. For more information, call 236-1279.
