Marquette – In celebration of March as Womens History Month, the film “The Blind Side” will be shown on Tuesday, March 5 at 6 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
“The Blind Side” is based on the true story of Michael Oher, a homeless and traumatized boy who became an All American football player and first round NFL draft pick with the help of Leigh Anne Tuohy and her family.
The film was released in 2009, is rated PG-13, and runs for 129 minutes. Viewers are welcome to bring a take-out supper and enjoy this series of four films featuring Best Leading Actress Oscar winners portraying real women.
