Marquette – A Raising Your Own Fruit Trees workshop will be held on Wednesday, March 6 at 6 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
With a little work and investment you can easily take pleasure in the beauty fruit trees bring to your yard and the flavors they bring to your table. Everything from variety selection, pest control, fertilization, sanitation, to watering will be covered by MSU Extension crop specialist and fruit tree enthusiast Jim Isleib. Everyone from home gardeners to commercial growers is welcome.
The event is free to Marquette Co-op owners, with a $3 suggested donation for all others being asked. Preregistration is greatly appreciated. Call Sarah at 225-0671, ext. 23.
