Calendar – Youth – Kids in the Kitchen Cooking Class – Feb. 21

Marquette – Kids and an adult partner can gain some cooking skills during “Kids in the Kitchen!” The event will be held on Thursday, February 21 at 5 p.m. at the U.P. Children’s Museum.

Kids can cook too, even at a young age. Get your kid involved in the kitchen at this hands-on, parent-child cooking class, where participants will learn to make a variety of healthy, tasty snacks. An adult must accompany the child/children.

Enrollment in the class includes admission to the Children’s Museum. Other family members are welcome to use the Museum for the usual admission fee, or with membership.

The cost of the class is $12 for a parent(s) and child, $15 for two children. Marquette Food Coop members can take $2 off the final price. Tickets are available at the Marquette Food Coop and at the Children’s Museum. For more information, contact Sarah at 225-0671, ext. 23.
