Marquette – “Once Upon a Time…” presents the classic fairy tale “The Fisherman and His Wife,” in two performances on Saturday, March 24 at 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
This classic Grimm’s Fairy tale is the story of a kindly fisherman who lives in a small hut by the sea. One day the fisherman catches a golden fish who claims to be an enchanted prince. The fisherman gently releases it but trouble begins when his greedy wife demands her wishes be granted by the enchanted fish.
The Vertigo Theatre Company will present this well known story in a performance that is particularly suited to families with young children.
