Ishpeming – A Community Bike Rodeo for students Pre-K through fourth grade in Ishpeming, Aspen Ridge and Republic-Michigamme Schools, will be held on Saturday, May 3 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Ishpeming Elks Lodge 447, 597 Lakeshore Drive in Ishpeming.
Participants will get a chance to check their bikes over for safety and fit, have their helmets checked for proper fit, and try out a bike obstacle course and learn about the Iron Ore Heritage Trail.
Limited numbers of helmets will be given away as well. Parents must remain with the students.
