MARQUETTE – Kaleidoscope 2013, the kids Educational Fun Fair, will be
held Saturday, March 2nd from 12 noon to 4 p.m. at the NMU Superior
Dome in Marquette. This is the fair’s 21st anniversary.
This year will feature over 30 youth groups and organizations hosting
crafts, games, fascinating displays, and many hands-on, fun educational activities for kids pre-K through eighth-grade.
The Costof admission is $1 per person. Attendees can enjoy booths featuring AMCAB Head Start’s “Fun with a Parachute”, Discovery Central’s “Bean Bag Toss”, 4C’s “Potato People”, Marquette Alger Reading Council’s “Book Making”, Marquette Board of Light & Power’s Electrical Safety information, Moosewood Nature Center, U.P. Luge and much, much more. The Marquette Fire Department will be there, as well as martial arts and dance demonstrations, and WMQT will do a live broadcast of the event at their booth.
